The changed contents are not reflected immediately if following changes are made to the menu items in global navigation when you use Slim Side Menu theme. 
Close the browser (or tab) once and display again to reflect changes.

 ･ Changes of locale (changed locale does not be reflected immediately only in the menu items of “Site map”)

The menu items displayed in the global navigation of side menu are saved in the temporary storage (sessionStorage) in the browser and maintained 10 minutes. 
The event, which is changes like above, is not reflected immediately because this save contents are not changed until expired. 

Deletion of the content of temporary storage in the browser by closing browser (or tab) and acquirement of menu information again are required to reflect changes immediately. 

  [Notes]
･ “Global Navigation Maximum Number of Displays” in “Global navigation settings” is not reflected when you use Slim Side Menu theme. 
･ “Site map” items are displayed although you do not have browsing authority of site map when you use Slim Side Menu theme in 2020 Spring. 
･ Process which menu information is deleted when you execute logout from logout icon in side bar or utility menu is changed in 2020 Summer
