Regarding the incident where our company’s documentation site redirected to unintended sites



On May 18, 2021, it was confirmed that the contents on our site (*1) were redirecting to a site that we did not intend.

From that day until May 25, 2021, we have looked into the incident and have fixed all of the contents of the target sites.

This issue has been resolved after completion of the fix on May 25, 2021.


[Factors and circumstances that caused the incident]

The script for displaying the language selector (*2) provided by the machine translation service that our company has previously used was used in all contents of the target site.

(*2) The language selector is a function that can switch the original Japanese content (html) of the page to other languages through machine translation by clicking into the [Japanese], [English], and [Chinese (simplified)] options.

After the previously used machine translation service has discontinued its service, we have confirmed that the script of that machine translation service was not working when we switched to the current service, however, the script itself was not deleted.

Because of this, when the domain (not managed by our company) of the machine translation service had been acquired by another company, it redirected to a site that we did not intend.

To fix the above issue, we have temporarily closed the site and deleted the script.


However, the documents that have been downloaded from the download library will still have the script remaining.

Please delete and stop using these documents immediately.
