If multiple users perform operations such as adding documents or creating folders on the same cabinet at the same time, the operations are processed sequentially on a cabinet-by-cabinet basis to maintain data integrity.

This is a mechanism to ensure the consistency of the statistics held by the cabinet (e.g., number of documents, folders, total content size, etc.) and the upper limit. Subsequent operations on the same cabinet are in a waiting state until the operation which started earlier has completed. The waiting time is usually very short, and the process will automatically resume after the preceding operation is completed.

Operations on different cabinets do not affect each other.

The following operations will be serialized within the same cabinet to update the cabinet's statistics.
- Adding text
- Creating folders
- Creating drawers
- Adding versions
- Deleting objects
- Moving objects
- Copying objects
- Checking in document

The following operations do not change the statistics and therefore are not subject to serialization. It can be performed in parallel with other operations.
- Changing the attributes of text documents and folders
- Changing access privilege (ACL)
- Checking out document
- Operating tags
